Faith Mission shelters for men and women are staffed by case managers who are committed to helping their clients. Specially trained to deal with obstacles faced by the residents at the shelter, they assist residents in obtaining birth certificates, social security cards and other necessary documents. Case managers also assist the residents in acquiring and understanding important records (i.e. credit, rental and police reports).
Case management services provide access to numerous housing resources, including creating a budget and searching for rental assistance. In addition, case managers help place residents in recovery groups and programs that will have a life-lasting effect on residents of the shelter. |
